This all natural cotton Bath Mitt and Soap Saver set was lovingly made by hand by the faculty and parents of the Sea Heart School, a Waldorf kindergarten initiative, in Costa Rica.

100% of the sales price of this item goes to benefit the children at the Sea Heart School in Costa Rica.

Both pieces are crocheted of 100% cotton. Used on the hand, the Bath Mitt cleanses, exfoliates and stimulates the skin.

Put leftover soap scraps in the Soap Saver to extend the life of your soap and save money. It acts as a washcloth and soap in one!

More About This Product

Bella Luna Toys' alliance with the Sea Heart School began in May 2010, when my son William's 8th grade class traveled to Costa Rica and did volunteer work at the school.

The Sea Heart School brings Waldorf education to the children of Talamanca, the poorest region of Costa Rica. Through fundraising efforts, such as this, the school is able to offer scholarships to indigenous and low-income local families.

Sea Heart’s kindergarten reflects the incredible cultural diversity of the area with 14 cultures represented. Diversity is honored through multi-cultural stories, song and festivals woven throughout the year.

A faculty and mothers craft circle comes together once a week to share stories and create these soft and natural bath items.
