Advent Calendars are a special way to count down or celebrate the days of Advent -- the four weeks leading up to Christmas.

Like most, modernt Advent calendars, ours begin on December 1 and have one "window" to open each day up until December 24. Each window opens to reveal a new seasonal image.

An advent calendar like this one is one of my favorite childhood memories of Christmas. I hope it will become a tradition in your family as well!
