Tumblewood - Wooden Stacking Game
Tumblewood is a unique wooden game of dexterity, physics, strategy and fun!
Although similar to other stacking tower games, which originated in Africa, Tumblewood features hand hewn pieces of wood (like those found in split rail fences here in New England) that are not uniform in size and shape. Players must use logic and reasoning to balance thin and thick sides of each stick to prevent the tower from tumbling!
Made here in Maine by a local artist and craftsman, each Tumblewood set consists of 55 pieces of hand split white birch, which have been tumbled for hours until the surfaces are smooth and the corners are rounded.
This heirloom-quality set is housed in a custom-made wooden box with a sliding top. Instructions include rules for six different games.
Can be played solo or with up to eight players.
A great family game, fun for all ages, 6 and up!
