One of my part-time jobs in recent years has been booking live folk music events here in midcoast Maine.

Last year, it was my great pleasure to bring Sarah Lee Guthrie and husband Johnny Irion to perform in Rockport, ME.

Sarah's voice is indescribably delicious, and as soon as I heard their kids' CD, Go Waggaloo, I knew I had to carry it at Bella Luna Toys!

My dad was a folk musician, and I grew up listening to songs by Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and Arlo Guthrie. My children grew up listening to the same.

I am so pleased that Sarah Lee is continuing her family's tradition, and that I am in a position now to introduce a whole new generation to great children's folk music.
