Cleaning Instructions:

One should never put a Waldorf doll with a formed head in the washing machine. The best way to clean the blanket doll is to gently hand wash the body (blanket part) with cool water and mild soap or detergent, and surface wash the head with a damp cloth or sponge.

Yellow Label Kids was founded by Hillary Sciarillo, a young mother who left the corporate world to provide children with an alternative to mass-produced, commercial plastic toys made in sweat shops. Yellow Label Kids is a proud member of the Fair Trade Federation.

Sciarillo designs the toys herself at home in San Francisco, then sends her patterns to artisan cooperatives in different countries. The toys are handmade by workers, mostly mothers, who are paid living wages. They learn new skills and can have their children with them when they are working.
