About the Authors:

Barbara Patterson attended the teacher education program at the Waldorf Institute of Southern California and was an early childhood teacher at Highland Hall Waldorf School in Northridge, Cal. for three years. Upon moving to Chicago, she operated River Park Children’s Garden out of her home for eight years.

Pamela Bradley is a long time public relations consultant, teacher, and mother of two former Chicago Waldorf School students. She was the editor of The Home Court Advantage by Mayer Eisenstein, MD, A Midwife Reflects by Kay Furay and numerous other publications about the safety and advisability of home birth. Pamela has an MA degree from New York University and is a published poet and repeat student at the University of Iowa Summer Writing Festival. She was co-editor of the successful annual Chicago Waldorf School calendar. Pam lives in Chicago with her husband and two daughters and is currently writing a family memoir.
