Kinderkram Wooden Cheese Lacing Toy

This hardwood lacing toy has been carved in the shape of a piece of Swiss cheese. The head of the needle is painted with the face of a little mouse who is ready to tunnel in and out of the holes.

This toy is irresistible fun for children ages three and up. (Leave it out and many grown-ups will pick it up and start stitching, too!)

But while children are having fun playing with this threading toy, they are also developing fine motor skills. Much research has been done in recent years that links the development of fine motor skills of the hand directly to the development of the brain.
