Bella Luna Toys is proud to have been the first online retailer to introduce the Waldorf Wooden Rocker Board to families around the world more than 10 years ago!

Waldorf Wooden Rocker Boards were originally used by teachers in Waldorf early childhood classrooms, not only for their developmental benefits, but especially for their great open-ended play value. They are played with in so many ways. One board can become a balancing board, see-saw, balance beam, bridge, slide, rocking cradle, and anything your child can dream up! A pair of Rocker Boards doubles the fun for two children! Put four together and they form a circle in which children build homes or cozy nests in which to rest.

These unique curved boards were originally created to help children develop balance, and are also excellent for stimulating the vestibular system and proprioception (awareness of one's physical body and its parts).

Fun to use indoors or outside, rocker boards will be enjoyed by all ages – from toddlers and preschoolers to grade-schoolers, even teens and adults! These boards are exceptionally strong and can easily hold the weight of a 200-pound adult!

Our Rocker Boards have been made in the USA since 2007 by a small family business in California.

SIZE : 34 inches long x 12 inches wide x 7 inches in height from floor to top of curve (when laying like a rainbow)
MATERIALS : Constructed from nine layers of Canadian maple plywood and crafted to a precise curve before being sanded smooth, and finished with a child-safe, water-based varnish
ORIGIN : Made in the USA
