Our new Waldorf Wooden Playstands Set from Sawdust & Rainbows is a wonderful addition to any classroom or child's playroom because of the myriad of ways it can be used!
Made from sustainable FSC-PEFC engineered birch plywood and redwood, these Play Stands are hand finished in Northern Ireland.
Use this set to create a magical space in which children can play and explore!
Some of our favorite ways to use wooden playstands include:
- An instant play fort when draped with a giant play silk or Silkscape
- A book nook for reading time
- A puppet theater
- A pretend store
- Explorer's tent
- A pirate ship on the high seas
- A house for fairies

The set includes two Playstands and two arches that can be separated and moved about. The rungs of the arches are available in your choice three colorways: Rainbow, Pastel or Natural.
Some assembly is required. Due to the bespoke finishes and natural grain, colors may vary slightly from photos.
These wooden Playstands can also be enjoyed outside, but should always be brought back indoors for the night.
NOTE: This is not a climbing toy and has been designed to actively discourage climbing.
