More About This Product

My family has a special connection with Ghana. My husband spent many months there over the past few years working on his recently published book, Bright Lights, No City. Our teenage son spent an unforgettable month there with him.

Knowing the level of poverty in Ghana, it was very important to me to find a Bolga basket that was fairly and ethically made. After searching far and wide for a source, I was ecstatic when I discovered the non-profit Blessing Basket® Project.

By purchasing a Blessing Basket®, you empower families in Africa to thrive. Their unique model ensures that artisans receive at least 2.5 times fair trade for their work. This allows them to start their own businesses and to sustainably exit poverty.

You can feel good knowing that your purchase has made a difference in the lives of women and children in Ghana!
