Plan Toys Tea Set

Tea parties with friends and dollies were a common activity in the play kitchen corner of my Waldorf kindergarten classroom.

Role playing and imitative play enhance children's learning and social skills.

Benefits of Kitchen Play:

• Children enjoy having tea with their friends or in a group, and play various roles as owner or customer of a restaurant

• Social play allows children to learn cooperation and helps them develop social skills and language abilities

• Children build vocabulary skills by learning the name of each piece and utensil of the wooden tea set

• Children learn practical skills like setting the table and washing dishes by imitating the work of adults
