Pentatonic Harp - Kinder Lyre

A gentle-sounding instrument, this high quality Pentatonic Harp (also known as a Kinder Harp or Pentatonic Lyre)  is made of solid cherry, a beautiful light-reddish-brown hardwood, and durable.

Tuned in the same 5-note scale as other pentatonic lyres or harps, such as our Choroi Kinderharp,  this instrument has 10 strings, rather than seven. (Tuned: DEGABdegab).

A Kinder Harp is ideal an ideal instrument for accompanying stories and singing, with every note in harmony, and are commonly used in Waldorf schools.

Each Kinder Harp package includes:

• Solid cherry Pentatonic Harp
• Tuning wrench
• Thickly padded case*
• Instructions on how to tune and care for the instrument

Finished with a child-safe semigloss lacquer. The instrument can be cleaned with a soft cloth. (Do not apply wax, which could cause the finish to become cloudy.)
