Song of the Sea Pentatonic Harp - 7 String

In stock

The Song of the Sea Pentatonic Harp (sometimes known as a pentatonic lyre or kinder harp)  is made of solid cherry, a hardwood that is as durable as it is beautiful.

This 7-string harp is tuned in the pentatonic scale (DEFGABde), which produces a gentle and harmonious sound.

Commonly used in Waldorf education, the pentatonic harp is an ideal instrument for accompanying singing and stories with young children. Because every note is in harmony, there is no such thing as a wrong note!

Each Song of the Sea Pentatonic Harp package includes:

  • Solid cherry Pentatonic Harp
  • Tuning wrench
  • Instructions on how to tune and care for the instrument
  • Thickly padded case*

Finished with a child-safe semigloss lacquer, the harp should be cleaned gently with a soft cloth. (Do not apply wax, which could cause the finish to dull.)
