Stockmar Watercolor Paints are used in Waldorf education to create Waldorf wet-on-wet watercolor paintings.

Create any color of the rainbow with just these three primary colors of red, blue and yellow. These were the only shades we ever used in my kindergarten class.

Part of the magic of watercolor painting is hearing a child exclaim, "Look, Miss Sarah, my water turned orange!" after rinsing his brush in a jar of water, while painting with red and yellow.

Children are learning color theory in an experiential way, without any adult explanation.
