Make your Own Felt Flower Button Headband Crown:

First we gather our materials! You will need longer felt for the headband, and felt sheets to cut for the flowers. Have fun picking out colors for your flowers. You will also need ribbon, you can use as many or as few colors as you would like.

Step 7:

Use a blanket stitch all the way around your headband to seal the two strips together.

Step 8:

Next, it's time to cut your flowers! We made stacked flowers for more fun color combinations. To do this, cut as many 4 petal flowers as you have buttons and as many 5 petal flowers as you have buttons. For our crown, we had 7 buttons, so we had 14 total flowers (7 that had 4 petals and 7 that had 5 petals).

Cut a slit a little over halfway in each flower as shown below (this is how you will slide them onto your buttons.
