SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

BRANDS: Bella Luna Toys, Oompa Toys

LOCATION: Remote 

We are looking for a social media coordinator to join our marketing team and manage our social media channels, influencer campaigns, unique content creation, and more. The ideal candidate has an artistic eye, strong design skills, and experience growing social media channels and nurturing communities. They are organized and self-motivated. An understanding of early childhood development and Waldorf education is a plus. This role will report to the Head of Marketing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Social Media Management: Execute brand content calendar by mapping out content and posting to social media channels 

Create Engaging Content: Take elevated and on-brand photos, videos, Reels, and Tik Toks for Bella Luna & Oompa social channels. Can also utilize existing assets to create fresh, engaging content. 

Nurture our Community: Carry forward our brand identity and voice while interacting with our customers across social media platforms. 

Manage Influencer Relationships: Coordinate outreach, facilitate product exchange, and secure assets for social use 

Marketing support: Support the rest of the marketing team on a variety of content initiatives, including outreach to content creators, managing collaborator submissions, writing and formatting blog posts, and more 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

2-3 years of experience in social media management 

You are social media savvy and well-versed in all things Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok—with a pulse on the ever changing landscape of social media 

You’re a strong communicator and able to craft and share brand messaging effectively 

You are proactive and detail-oriented. Able to manage tight deadlines and quick moving projects. 

You are flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment 

You have great taste and an eye for elevated design, which translates into the content you create 

You are creative and ready to throw your ideas into the ring to improve our marketing efforts 

The ideal candidate will have experience in basic photo and video editing, a visual eye for capturing styled flat lays and product photos, and understanding of SEO and best practices for creative blog content.
