This handcrafted Wooden Toy Train Set, made here in Maine of unfinished native white pine, may be the most classic toy of all time! Generously sized and durable, this heirloom-quality wooden train is made up of six separate cars: an engine, coal tender, lumber car, people car, box car, and caboose.
This train set makes an ideal gift for a newborn as well as for an older child. It will be passed down and enjoyed by your grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
The pull rope for toddlers can easily be removed for use by an older child.
The individual cars are coupled with sturdy wood pegs which easily fit into chamfered holes.
Note that this wooden train set is oversized and bigger than the photos convey. Each car is nearly 8" long and 6" high!
