In the Catalan language, the word grapat means “a handful” and each Grapat product is inspired by the beautiful idea of carrying a handful of loose pieces with care and passing them into the hands of children. Beautiful advent calendar

"We are looking forward to this advent calendar. Grapat calendars are always brimming with surprises and beautiful, meaningful gifts perfect for imaginative play. While we haven't opened the advent calendar yet, I can say the boxes are beautiful and sturdy. I did not peek, but I did reorganize the inside boxes so they more closely approximate the order of opening. Many of the boxes seem lighter than those of past years and not rattly ( as if they contain soft materials and not wooden parts), but I remain hopeful about the contents. This is definitely a splurge for us, but it is one tradition that my children really seem to enjoy."

"Each gift is unique, well made, and well thought out. Last year I had hope to purchase this item, but they were sold out so quickly. So thankful I was able to snag one this year as I know they are in high demand. My children are enjoying opening a small gift each day as we count down to Christmas. It is fun trying to guess what each item is, and then we get to read the provided booklet to reveal the meaning behind the special treasure.
