This beautiful set of 36 Rainbow Wooden Cube building blocks comes nestled into its own wooden tray frame.

Encompassing all the hues of the rainbow, the 18 pairs of square blocks are easily grasped by small hands and may be manipulated by older children into beautiful mosaics or building projects.

Crafted in Europe by Grimm's, Spiel & Holz of Germany, each block is cut by hand with edges and corners that have been sanded smooth.

Non-toxic and safety-tested, the blocks have been finished with water-based dyes and are unlacquered.

MATERIALS : European hardwoods with non-toxic, water-based stains
CARE : Use a cloth dampened with warm water. You may use a small amount of vinegar essence mix combined with water. This works extremely well in destroying bacteria and cleaning wooden toys. Do not submerge in water or place in the dishwasher. Disinfectants (even organic baby wipes) should not be used as they can damage the water based coatings that protect the colorful stains beneath.

Q&A

Can I get more info on the finish? Is it a polypropylene lacquer or something similar? I ask this as I got a rainbow stacking set from etsy and the colour seems to come off as if there no finish or lacquer. Regards.: Grimm's wooden toys are finished with a non-toxic water based stain which leaves the natural appearance and feel of wood intact. There is not a hard clear topcoat or sealant.
Why are these recommended for babies 3+?: These blocks are not recommend for children under the age of three because the size of the blocks could present a choking hazard.
