This eco-friendly brown Organic Cotton Brown Teddy Bear has been lovingly hand-crafted in the mountains of Germany by Senger, a small family business.

Made with outstanding attention to detail, this adorable bear is waiting to become your child's best friend! This eco-friendly organic teddy is handmade from organic cotton and filled with pure organic lambswool. Whether you choose the large bear at 16" or the smaller teddy at 12", these vintage-styled bears will share years of love.

Part of the Senger Floppy series of stuffed toys, this teddy has a unique vintage look and feel. Lightly stuffed and made from an organic cotton plush fabric that softens over time, this teddy will gain character with use and is sure to become a child’s favorite floppy friend.

At first, the teddy may feel stiff and have a wooly scent. The minimally treated wool stuffing is rich with naturally occurring lanolin preventing the fibers from becoming brittle and helping the wool remain lofty and soft. Each carefully handmade teddy has embroidered features.

This all-natural stuffed animal makes a unique and beautiful gift for a baby, toddler or young child.

What are the eyes and nose made of?: The are embroidered with cotton thread.
What is the “fur” part made out of? Is the entire bear organic, including that part? Thank you.: The bear is made of organic cotton plush fabric on the outside and stuffed with wool.
You mention this is a larger size. Is a smaller one available? For a 9 month old and being able to hold and carry with would be ideal!: I purchased this bear for my 3 year old and he loves it. I purchased the floppy bunny- which is the same size as the bear- for my younger son's first birthday. He loves to grab the bunny and cuddle it from time to time. But, he doesn't really carry it around with him, although he could, as it's lightweight. Personally, I felt they were a little different from what I expected. But after having them a few days, I decided they were the best/highest quality/unique and adorable stuffed animals I've ever seen in my life. Totally love them. We named them Cocoa (the bear) and Che-Che: short for Penuchi (the bunny, Penuchi as in the fudge candy.) If you can stomach the price for a stuffed animal, buy it. They aren't the polyester squishy softness of most stuffed animals. They are very firm, light, and long-limbed. But, my kids have really begun to take to them. The bear is fine for a baby, but I recommend the bunny because of the ears (he likes to chew on them. :) I like them so much, I really just want them for myself! Both of them!
